Adkins & Susie Lee Couch married June 05, 1885, marriage location: Collinsburg, LA. Elijah died 1935 he may have been in Hico, TX. Children: Jennie Lee Adkins b: January 31, 1891, Collinsburg, LA., d: Oct 7, 1976 Anson, Jones Co., TX. Bessie Lou Bell Adkins b: July 9, 1900; d: Dec. 21, 1932. Also, a son (name unknown) that was killed in WWI. Jennie Lee Adkins, married William Lovelady Campbell, November 13, 1907, Avoca, Jones Co., TX. So they must have moved from Louisiana late 1800's or early 1900's. Jennie Lee & William Lovelady Campbell are my husbands grandparents. We have been told that Jennie's mother was a full blood Indian or had some Indian blood or it may have been Susie's Mother. Bessie Lou Bell Adkins married Ernest Baker. A living daughter and a son that died were born in this marriage. Susie Couch had two bachelor brothers, George and Sam and one lived near Lueders, and one possibly near Aspermont, TX. Interested in knowing more about both the Adkins and Couch side of the family. We don't have birth dates, date of deaths and where they are buried on either of them or their parents names or location. We know very little about Jennie & Bessie's parents. Anyone have any information about these families? Thanks.

No date of birth is known; however, one of the census records list him as being born in SC. I do not know his father's name or any other information about him. I do know that he married and moved to St. Clair County, Alabama. He had 10 children. I have the bible that belonged to one of his kids that moved to Texas in the 1890's.     3. I am trying to find information about Robert Lee Adkins he was born about 1879 in LIncoln County WV. He was a son of Thomas T Adkins (born 1818) and Marinda. Robert married Annie Harris but do not have a date for their marriage. He died in 1936 and was 96 years old. Any information about either of them would be appreciated Pat
