They had 3 children ,linda Lou Adkins,Hobert Lee Adkins, Kenneth Dwayne Adkins.Linda married Joe carico pound Va in 1966.They had two children .Paul mitchell born 8/3/1966,Diedra dawn carico,Born 8/26/1972.Hobert Adkins married Joletta taylor in wise Va,They had a son Hobert Lee Adkins Jr.Born 1983.Hobert Sr. died from a long illness in 1991.Kenneth Adkins married Gloria Pack from West Va .In wise Va in 1972.They had two children Kenneth Dwayne Adkins Jr,.Beth Adkins.Last i heard These two were adopted by Glorias second husband.And name changed to Pitsenbarger.Kenneth later married Rose ? Talmadge was called Nick. He passed on extremely little information on his father's family. We use to go thru there all the time from VA to KY. Mother was VA, dad from KY. After you cross Cumberland Gap you are close to Middlesboro, KY. So Rose Hill is really close to Middlesboro, KY. Jonesboro, Rose Hill, and Ewing are in VA. I cannot remember for sure but I do believe it is highway 58. Goes from Gate City, VA to Middlesboro, KY. Hope this helps. Doris

April 1860 from Ind. Hurbert B. 16, Cecil 4,and Solomon Oct 1822 Father. Hurbert married Nettie Fuller in Aug. 1902. Any information on this family would be helpful.

These names you posted I don't reconize, but whose to say they were not in my family! My grandfather was Clarence Adkins from Pittsville, Wicomico county, MD. He was b. feb10, 1879. Married Ronie E. Davis, Jan.9,1901. I don't know his parents names, except for what has been told to me. as far as I know his father was Jehu. There was an aunt to my grandfather; she was Martha Adkins who married Levin W. Perdue. I saw in the Holloway's of the Eastern Shore that there were Shockley's, Holloway's , Davis's, Parsons, Perdue's and I can't remember how many more names that were related!
