    1. [ADKINS] On The Road Again

    3. I'll be leaving on vacation soon, and will be gone for at least three weeks. Am going to the Caudle reunion in Kentucky, then to visit a cousin of Liz's in West Virginia, then to Pennsylvania for our oldest grandaughter's high school graduation. We may go see another grandaughter in New York (that's not for sure yet.) Then, to visit a cousin in New Hampton, Virginia for visiting and site seeing. From there to Liz's sister's near Roanoke, Virginia. From there, we'll go site seeing at Chattanooga, Tennessee and Rock City, Georgia and on to the Vicksburg battlefield in Mississippi. Finally come on home. So please, no e-mail after today until June 15 unless it's very important and you don't want me to miss it. I'll unsubscribe to the list before today is over. It seems that the laptop that my brother-in-law was given to take with them isn't working so they can't use email. My brother-in-law has been able to send short emails from the company that he went to work with, so at least we are getting some information from them. Anyway... Ronnie also lists a Napoleon Bonaparte b. Oct. 1848 in Bowen, Wayne co. Va as the son of Andrew Jackson and Cynthia Caroline Bowen Adkins. Andrew was the son of Parker Millington Adkins and Kiziah Maars and lineage is traced back on this line of Adkins) Andrew Jackson married the second time Elizabeth R. Adkins on March 2, 1865, in Catlettsburg, KY. she was born 1834 in Cabell County Died April 28, 1876 They had three children none of which were named Naploeaon. This Napoleon by Andrew's first marriage married Mary Francis Dial in 1871. She was born June 1853 and died June 26, 1934 (other information on Mary given).
