It's reported his mother was Lund and spoke only Danish. I strongly believe his father was from the Simon line since he moved to Indiana with the Quaker group to Wayne, Henry, Randolph Counties, and another son of Joseph's named one of his children Jesse. Henry died in IA while recuperating from malaria at his Uncle Abraham Adamson's place. His was the first probate on record in Jasper Co. Also noteworthy is census, probate and will lists his middle name as W., family lore lists William. However, a land patent grant in Indiana lists Henry Wyerman Adamson, which could be confused with William. Any help locating Henry's parents would be extremely welcome. Cindy Wilder
