(1758-1816) and Sarah EGON Charles ADAMSON(1797-1867) and Sarah HATFIELD My wife's line comes from Sarah Ann Adamson their daughter. I wonder if you have any information on any of the above, as to what they did and where they lived etc. I also notice your name is Grove and she has a Grove in her other line. Sarah Ann married a Perry Moore and there is a Grove as an ancestor. I know nothing about her, but have some info on her husband who was a Moore. This is what I have: [1] Dr. John Moore married to Hannah Armstrong...He was born in Ireland on July 19, 1741 and died in Greene Co. PA on December 2, 1818. He and Hannah are buried in the Armstrong Cemetery Ground, 3 miles east of Carmichaels, PA. There were three sons and probably five daughters. I believe John Jr. was the first born..... [2] John A. Moore Jr. was born in 1792 in PA and died in 1861, married a Susannah Shriver [location and date unknown] I have no information on Susannah. I believe that they lived most of their lives in Greene Co. but not sure...I have a estate record from that County Will Book that lists him as the administrator to his fathers estate. That will was filed for probate on February 20, 1819. They had nine children...6 boys and three girls..... Thomas Moore was the eighth child born.... [3] Thomas Moore..was born in 1809 location unknown [probably PA and Greene Co] and died on January 24, 1892, location unknown. He married a "Rachel Mapel" the 13th child of a William and Eleanor {White} Mapel... They probably lived in Greene Co. also, but not sure.. Rachel was born in 1810 in Greene Co. and died in 1854 in PA. I do not have any date or location of the marriage..... He apparently then married a "Elizabeth Grove"...and it would have to have been after 1854 sometime. It is said that Thomas had 10 children but it does not state how many from which wife..... The only children that I have are......[1] Perry Moore born April 22, 1836, my wife's line. [2] Alfred Moore, born in 1841 [3] William Moore [4] John Armstrong Moore born June 9, 1848. That's all the children that I have on record... Again I am assuming that they spent most of their time in PA and in Greene co. but they could have moved at some time also....I hope something fits....
