    3. To: List Members: From: List Manager: I have a couple of items that will be of interest to all. First, I have made several changes to my web page. 1- It now includes a link to a ADAMSON Data Research site sponsored by Merlin Schuman and myself. It now includes an Index for All volumes of the ADAMSON ANCESTRY published by KARD , Judy K. Dye. Included at this time is federal census abstracts of the ADAMSON surname for most states for the years 1790 to 1850. Also other listings. Other abstracts are in planning stage. 2- I show a link the Rootsweb Treaded Mail List Archive. This will be of great aid to us in searching past messages. It becomes very important that we use the Subject line of our messages with care and forethought. If at all possible the subject line should include the Given name, Dates and location. An example would be [William E. Adamson (1855- ), KS]. It is also important that we use the Reply option of your program to append this title to any replies. 3- I recently lost my Traveling companion. On my home page, you can see my Tribute to Man's best friend. I have canceled my travel plans for May. I will be back on schedule for the June and July trip. 4- I have abstracted several more 1880 Soundex. They have not been proofed and I am looking for some volunteer ('s) to proof the abstracts. I have paper copies of each micro-film page so I can send you a complete state to proof. Contact me if you are willing to proof read one or more states. I would estimated that an average of two to three hours would be necessary for most states. A listing of states I have abstracted can be found by looking at [Credits and Links] and then [CLICK X] and then find the Microfilm listing. The sooner these are proofed the sooner they can be published. Also for those of you whom have access to microfilm readers, I can send the roll of film. That would be a complete proofing. 5- If your name is not shown on the ADAMSON researchers Database, I would appreciate receiving your lineage or as much as you have, and I will incorporate it into the database. If you have questions, contact me direct. 6- You will note that I intend to start a listing of names and addresses of Adamson researchers. If you want to be shown, sent me directly any information that you will share. Data that I will show is: A-Your Given name and surname, B- Your Adamson connection (the oldest three or four generations) that you know. i.e. [John > Simon Sr > Jacob] or [William A. > Aaron > Martha] , C- the Snail Mail Address D- email address. Anything else appropriate. I do suggest that you NOT show your home street address. An example of a complete listing is: *****[Jerry F. Adamson- P.O. Box 380, Baxter Springs, KS, 66713- jadamson@rectec.net John Adamson > Thomas Sr. > Thomas Jr. > James]***** 7- Lastly, The Mail list has 60 members. Many have not contributed to the list. We can only help each other, if we share what information we have or need. I encourage you to either post a query of your needs or your lineage. [Or both].
