I just discovered that my ggrandfather, Richard Albert Adamson (b. 1860 DC, d. 1927 DC), lived at 206 or 2026 9th St, NW, in Washington, DC in 1888. That was the premises of ADAMSON and HOLMES (William ADAMSON and Charles W. HOLMES) Saloon. Richard Albert Adamson had a brother, William Winford ADAMSON, but the above William was not him. This is the first time I have run across this William ADAMSON and I am hoping he may be a link to Richard Albert and his father Richard H. ADAMSON. So far, I have been unable to determine who the parents and/or siblings of Richard H. ADAMSON (b. abt 1828 MD, d. 1872 DC) were.
