    1. Re: [ADAMSON-L] Re:Charlotte Adamson Long 1830-1875 & Richard Long 1823 - 1895 PA>IW
    2. Jerry, Thanks so very much! This is quite a treat, all this information. Have been trying to get proof of these grandparents for an aunt, who wishes to join DAR. Been doing research for a short time, updating an uncle 's work. Bless him! Tried the Mormon thing, etc. to no avail. (There are also 2 Richard Longs w/Charlotte Adamson as spouses. So I was rather confused. Think 1st Richard is an uncle of this Richard, but Charlotte, can not find any info on the 1st. ) When you refer to a photo of Richard Long, is it suppose to be attached to this letter, or is it on your site? If it is here, I have a problem. My grandmother Ruth Long Booth, was the infant left when Charlotte Adamson died, so my grandmother's children knew little of her mother/family. A sister raised her. My g-mother said she was related to a Hatfield family, which I found in Ten Mile Country. The internet is wonderful. I almost feel guilty after so many have dedicated of their lives to research, the hard way. Where did you find this information? I checked out your wonderful site a while back--and was so excited to see all the cemetery photos, now I have a file of those. I hope to get to PA this summer, on way to Nantucket, the long way! (We're in CA.) I also read abt the Adamson reunion, and that you were doing cemetery tours. Thank would be a treat. Can not wait to call my aunt, she'll be delighted to know more of her grandparents. I truly appreciated your assistance. Denisse
