In reference to Evelyn Young message of Mar. 4. "We are responding to the query concerning Margaret Adamson and Uriah Wiggins, as pertains to Joseph Adamson. We believe Joseph to be Margaret's grandfather (her father being William, who we think drowned). " ***************** Recently I have made contact with an Adamson who lives near Maysville, Mason Co. KY. From some his notes that he sent, his Great Grand Parents were William Adamson and Sarah Poe. He also stated that William was born in PA in 1796. and died between 1870-1880. Census records indicate that this William was enumarated as h/h in 1820 and 1830 in Mason Co., PA I also believe that Sarah was the h/h in 1840, Mason Co. KY. I have not yet connected this William, but suspect that he is a Grandson of Joseph (1745- ). Could he be the son of the William that drowned? I have been invited to stop by their place in Northern Kentucky. I intend to do exactly that when I make my Research trip to KY, OH and PA this summer. The trip will be a little later than usual as I will be attending an ADAMSON reunion in Pennsylvania in mid July. Questions :: Any idea as to the year that William Drowned?. Also what is the source of this information.
