We believe Joseph to be Margaret's grandfather (her father being William, who we think drowned). Margaret also had a sister Ann, who married Anthony Kilgore 1815, as per marriage record in Mason Co. KY. Joseph gave permission for Ann to marry, as we think he did for Margaret. When did Uriah settle in LA? Is it possible that Anthony and Ann settled there also? We have never located them after their marriage. Do you have access to the 1820 LA census? Could you check for the Kilgore. Are you descended from Uriah and Margaret? Need more information on the Washington Co. MD connection.
