Their children, according to the 1860 and 1870 DC Census, were: Irving, b. 1848 DC William Winford, b. 1850 DC Mary Emma, b. 1853 DC Edward F., b. 1854 DC Richard Albert (my ggrandfather), b. 1860 DC I believe Richard H. is a descendant of John Baldwin ADAMSON of MD, but so far have been unable to prove it. I am also looking for info on a William ADAMSON, b. Prince William Co, VA, who married Ida LYNN of Fairfax, VA in Washington, DC on May 25, 1885. I believe he owned a saloon in DC called ADAMSON and HOLMES, where my Richard Albert ADAMSON resided, for a short period of time.
