Jerry, Elisha Adamson, b. 1765 Montgomery Co., MD, d. 1804 in Logan Springs, Clarke, OH. His son Elisha Adamson, Jr., b. 1803, Clarke Co., OH, d. 1879 Rockville, Parke Co., IN. Buried in Rockville Cemetery. His daughter Nancy Ann Adamson Stryker is also buried there with husband. A son, John Robinson Adamson, who died young is also buried there. His wife, Mary Ann Robinson Adamson, for some reason was buried in Brazil, IN. Another daughter Elizabeth Adamson Bogle is probably in the Brazil cemetery too. Another family of Adamsons lived in Brazil so you might have a lot of Adamsons there. If you go to that part of OH or IN you might check these places out. Elisha Adamson, Jr. was a builder and probably built some of the original covered bridges that Parke Co. is known for. He built the old courthouse at Newport, IN and Greencastle, IN. The farm he had on New Discovery Road passed to the Stryker family and stayed in the family until about 10 years ago. (Have quite a bit of history about him, if anyone is interested.) Ann Lester
