The family moved to Sedalia, Mo very close to 1870. They show up in 1870 in Pettis County, Sedalia, Mo, and in 1880 I find David Adams in Montana, doing logging. That is the last time I find him and do not know if he died there, or just isn't listed in future censuses. His parents were James and Hannah (Sycks or Sykes) Adams and his siblings were Ruth Ann, Marshall V, Ellsworth M, Sarah L, William, Oda Jane Adams.
