Tn. (Mark Reed 2002). She Married John Gray on 6 June 1819 in Greene Co., Tennessee. (Mark Reed 2002). John Gray b. 12 Sept 1799 Greene Co Tn, died 31 Oct, 1858, buried Johns Chapel Cemetery, Boone Township, Greene Co Missouri.. James L. Adams and Mary Gray married 20 March, 1838 in Greenville, TN. They remained in Greene County Tennessee until 1850-1851 when they moved Greene County Missouri, possibly with her brother James Gray. James and Mary Gray Adams had the following children, all born in Greene County, Tennessee: Mary "Polly" Gray (b. 27 Nov 1820 Greene Co Tn, d. 27 Apr 1891 Greene Co Mo buried Johns Chapel Cem). He was from Kentucky and in 1870 living in his brother, Alfred King's household in Center township, Greene County, next to the Nicholson farm where Kiziah lived with her mother. In 1880, "Kittie" Adams and Hickerson King are living in Flat Creek township, Barry County, Missouri. They have moved back to Ash Grove, Greene County, Missouri by 1900. Peter Nicholson was the son of Benjamin Nicholson and Martha Gilbert Nicholson. This was Peter Nicholson's second marriage. His first wife, Mary Ireland, had moved with the family to Greene County, Missouri, where she died and was buried in the Johns Chapel Cemetery. Peter J.
