Hi Karen, David Nelson Adams and Hannah Sparks Adams moved from Indiana to Arkansas. They had 8 children. 6 girls, 2 boys. There son Charles Wesley was my grndfather. He married Lula Simpson Glover and had 6 boys.He had two sons in Mason Valley,Ark. One son in Hoover,Ar. one son in Rogers,ar. Then on to Chelsea where the last two sons were born. Eventually all migrated from the midwest out to California. I know the burial places of 5 of the 6. My mystery is where David C.W. Adams is buried. My Father died in 2000 at 93 and I am at a loss as to where he buried him.He actually buried most of his brothers except the first who died in 1941. All records and info is gone except the family Bible, which I have, but the death place for him was not entered. I have gotten most of my info from the internet and have found a few relatives. I am the last of my siblings. Always appreciate info and help. I am researching an Adams family that migrated originally, we think, from Pennsylvania, to Belmont Co.,Ohio (probably in 1850s or earlier), briefly to Tyler Co.,Virginia/West Virgina (1860), then to Hamilton Co., Indiana (1865 or so), and some then on to Norton Co., Kansas in 1880's. It includes a David F. Adams, a brother of the Jonah Adams I am researching. I don't know where David or the other siblings went, but think David married, either Mary J. B. Newton 9/19/1880, or Mary M. Whetsel 5/20/1883 (or both?) in Hamilton Co., Indiana. The latter is probable since Jonah's wife (Lucinda's)sister also married a Whetsel in Hamilton Co. Another brother of Jonah and David F., John W. Adams, probably married Henrietta E. Presser 8/21/1881 in Hamilton County, Ind. Do any of these people sound familiar to anyone? I would like to find where in Pennsylvania to search - Jonah, et al.'s father, Hugh Adams, was supposed to have been born in PA. Hugh Adams married Lucinda Cooper in Belmont Co., Ohio 4/17/1857, and the Coopers also were supposed to be from Pennsylvania. (Lucinda-Jonah Cooper-John Cooper).
