Greetings! My Frances M.(M = Marion)Adams was born 6 December 1859 in Missouri. He married IcyDora (Isadora, Dora) Freeman, who was born 9 July 1857 in Murphysborough, Coffee Co., Tennessee. They were married in 1879 in Glen Rose, Texas, and both of them died in Kimble County, Texas. I have several pictures of both of them and one with all of their children, as well. I have their children as follows: Lula Allie John W. b. 25 June 1880/d. 26 March 1931 Dave G. b. 1882/d. 1930 Sarah Laura b. 23 Feb 1886/d. 13 Feb. 1963 (this is my g-gmother) Arthur S. b. 27 Feb 1890/d. 13 June 1944 Frank b. 18 June 1892/d. 6 July 1900 I was wondering: My great aunts have told me that our FM Adams was very involved in the Masonic Lodge, and he traveled around Texas initiating (or whatever the word is, my apologies to any Masons for my ignorance!) men into the Masonic Rite. Do the Masons keep any records that old? Would they be open to letting me copy them, if they do? It was just an angle I hadn't thought of before!
