The list isn't all that chatty......so sometimes its best to make the effort to send a test message to see 1. if you somehow got unsubbed (because if that happened you'll get back a message saying that your not a member of the list & gives directions on how to become one). 2. your ISP may have changed your addy or filtering system w/o your knowledge, which can cause problems & w/o sending a test message (that you expect to get back) then you won't know exactly where to look. And its more helpful to the list owner for the member to check everything out on their end First before asking the list owner to figure it out. Besides you won't know what is wrong w/o trying to figure it out first........ So I don't mind the test messages.
