She was the daughter of Florence Leavitt and Howard Adams, and grandchild of Sarah Taylor Smith and Charles A. Leavitt of Saco, Maine. I am attempting to trace the current location of two paintings that once hung in Sarah and Charles Leavitt's home of Sarah's parents James H. and Sarah D. Smith. Paintings were last seen in 1930s in Portland, Maine. I am researching James Smith's Maine medical practice and would love to know what he looked like.
