Fox Memorial Hospital, Oneonta. She was born Nov. 20, 1916, in Niagara Falls, the daughter of Harrison and Mattie (Corp) Smith. She married Charles Adams on Jan. 20, 1962. Christine graduated from Chittenango High School and attended Cortland Normal School. She worked for Kimberly Clark. Christine loved the outdoors. She enjoyed camping, golfing and skiing. She was an avid bowler. Christine was a dog lover and raised and bred dogs. She also enjoyed horses and loved to ride them. Christine is survived by her husband, Charles Adams of Niagara Falls; two sisters, Muriel Levine of Oneonta and Fern Humpfries of Daytona Beach, Fla.; one brother, Robert L. Smith of Kinston, N.C. Christine was predeceased by her father, Harry B. Smith; her mother, Mattie Corp Smith; five brothers, Harold B., Arthur L., Glen L., John P., and G. Todd; and two sisters, Louise Gruber and Gracia Shomers. Funeral services will be held in Niagara Falls. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the A.O. Fox Nursing Home, 1 Norton Ave., Oneonta, N.Y. 13820 or to the charity of one's choice in loving memory of Christine Smith Adams. ========== DISCLAIMERS: Not related, no further details.
