Phillip Sessions officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 at the funeral home. Mrs. Adams, who died Tuesday, July, 26, 2005, at Decatur General Hospital, was born March 11, 1921, in Houston County, Tenn., to Joe Jackson and Leathy Bledsoe Jackson. She married Jewell Nathan Adams in 1943 and raised two sons and two daughters. Mrs. Adams was a child of the Depression and a member of the Greatest Generation. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved her God, family, friends and country. Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Jewell Adams; four children, Jeff Adams and his wife, Rhonda, of Sparta, Tenn., Rick Adams of Gatlinburg, Tenn., Gail Adams Shell and her husband, Andy, of Hartselle, and Teresa Adams of Hartselle; one sister, Ruby Adams of Erin, Tenn.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
