The information I have indicates Robert's father is Henry Adams (1726-1785) and that they were both born near Boston. My family tree has been traced back to him and then stops. Henry was supposedly sometimes referred to as the Lehigh Valley Adams. He was born in or near Boston. Henry and his son, Robert and other members of the family, came to PA by way of Rhode Island to fight Indians in Eastern PA and settled in Huntingdon County. My tree goes from Henry 1726-1785 to Robert Adams 1753-1810/Thomas Adams 1798-1851/Richard Adams 1819-1890/Ephriam Adams 1844-1911/John Quincy Adams 1867-1936/Mona Eudora Adams Clark 1912-1955/Mona Jean Clark Shiock 1936-2003/to me Andrea Shiock Anthony b.1957. Henry was a fifer in the Revolutionary War in Capt. John Wagner's Company of the 4th Batallion, Northumberland County Malitia, PA. His son, Robert, served in the 8th PA Regiment, Continental Line. From RootsWeb.com it lists this military service number: BET.Jul 1776-Apr 1779 The information I have states that Henry died in Indiana County, PA and Robert died in Westmoreland County, PA. Robert also served as Westmoreland County Justice of the Peace in 1777. Henry was married in 1750 but I don't have her name. All records seem to stop at Henry Adams. Could you please share with me the information you have on Robert and Keziah? Thank you.
