Their daughter Anna Adams married Charles Douglas, Sr., b. April 9, 1732. This is the line of John Fargason (Ferguson), Sr. of Gargannock, Sterlingshire, Scotland of Essex or Rappahanock married to Ann Stubbleson, James Samuel F.,Sr. married to Anne, James Samuel Ferguson, Jr. married to Agnes Adams, who would have been a sister to Anna. This family left Goochland, living next door to everyone important and went to Chester, SC after the Revolutionary War. Apparently, the Tory Ferguson cousins followed Colonel William Ferguson wounded in his arm home and shot him in front of the family. They went on to Muscle Shoals, Alabama and Macon, Mississippi and were in Texas in time for the War for Independence. This was research that Ouida Nalle did, mostly in New York and Washington, DC, and so, I'm trying to fill in the gaps. The Family Bible helped but is now lost that came from Scotland. William Ferguson was married to Patience, and his son was James Elridge Ferguson, Sr. Do you think Ann was in this family of Fergusons?
