If this is Robert Adams of Goochland Co., VA who married Mourning Lewis they are my ancestors and Mourning Lewis was the daughter of William Lewis and Ann Montgomery....who was no Indian....Robert Adams and Mourning Lewis were the parents fo my Anna Adams who married Charles Douglas, Sr born April 9, 1732 of Hanover Co. Is there any documentation of the marriage of Robert Adams to an Indian?
