From the Montgomery, Alabama Advertiser, March 17, 2006: Ridout's Prattville Chapel ADAMS, Ruth Evelyn Doughty, 86, of Prattville, AL died March 13, 2006 at the home of her daughter, Barbara Weaver. Mrs. Adams was a devout Christian woman whom was deeply loved by her family and friends. She loved her family and she loved the Lord. She left this world looking forward to her life in the next. Mrs. Adams is survived by her children, Dee Willingham and his wife Jeannie of Bryant, AL; James Willingham and his wife Barbara of Skiatook, OK; Barbara Weaver of Prattville, AL; Gary Willingham of Owasso, OK and Dennis Willingham and his wife Sivie of Lancaster, KY. Mrs. Adams is also survived by her nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Ridout's Prattville Chapel on Friday, March 17, 2006 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. Radney's Funeral Home ADAMS, Mr. Don G., age 72, of Montgomery, funeral services will be Saturday, March 18, 2006, at 2:00 p.m., at the Chapel of Radney Funeral Home. The Rev. Ed Frantz will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hillview Memorial Park with Veteran Honors provided by the Alexander City Honor Guard. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 17, 2006 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home. Mr. Adams passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2006 at the University of Alabama Hospital in Birmingham. He was born on September 5, 1933 in Ozark, AL to Leonard Lee Adams and Eudora Marshall Adams. He worked as a barber/hairstylist for Tracy's Beauty Salon in Montgomery. He was a member of Frazier Memorial United Methodist Church in Montgomery. He enjoyed gardening and yard work and was an avid reader, especially western novels. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran having served in Korea on the USS Essex. He is survived by his sons, Michael Adams and wife Robin of Alexander City and Mark A. Ad! ams and wife Debbie of Montgomery; grandchildren, Stephen Adams and Justin Adams; fiancée, June Johnson of Montgomery; mother, Eudora Adams of Opelika and brother, Charles Adams and wife Sarah of Opelika.
