My maternal grandmother 's grandmother was Barbara (Barbary ) Jane Adams Hale from Scott Co. ,Va.Her father was George Adams.Siblings were ,if I remember right ,Ruel,William,George,Mary,Ezekial.Barbara named one of her sons John Quincy Adams Hale . Census said that George Sr ,William and Barbara Jane were born in N.C.All the the other siblings were born in Scott Co. I have to wonder if we are not related to this lineyou are discussing . William died in Scott Co.1859.George died Scott Co around 1856. Do you know why Pleasant and family were in Scott co when William was born ?He seems to be the only child born in Va.
