Have been researching the premise that our George W Adams born b. July 16, 1843 of Indiana, Pa d December 6, 1861 died in the Civil War. I went looking for him on the Civil War Soldiers Sailors System webpage http://www.itd.nps.gov/cwss/soldiers.htm I found 6 volunteers names George W Adams listed in a couple of units.
