They were first cousins. My husband descends from Edmond W. Goodrich(son of Benjamin and Lucy) and his wife Frances Elizabeth (daughter of Briggs and Mary), also first cousins. Their son Sterling W. Goodrich and Nancy Moore are my husband's 3rd great grandparents. Sue
