IN, and Putnam Co. IN. I am at a dead end looking for the parents and siblings of JOHN ADAMS, b. 1802 in VA, married NANCY BELL b. 1802 in KY. They were married 1826 in Monroe Co. IN. I believe JOHN'S (1802) parents to be HUGH1775 and ELEANOR ELLETT. Trying to disprove a wife stuck to their JOHN born 1802. JOHN and NANCY'S children are: JAMES b abt 1828, HUGH CALVIN, b abt 1829, WILLIAM RILEY b 1831, JOHN M/QUINCY b 1835, FRANCIS MARIONb abt 1837, ANCIL MONROE b 1838 and his twin sister SARAH JANE. HUGH 1775 and ELEANOR ELLETT'S children were: ANCIL, JAMES, NERIGH, REBECCA, JOHN b1802 , MARIAH, WILLIAM, RACHEL, HUGH b 1815. I am looking for any info on any Hugh born in VA hoping to tie the families together. I have them living next to Nancy Bell's parents in Pulaski Co. KY and in Monroe Co. IN. Only thing is my John Adams 1802 was illiterate and evidently so was Hugh 1775. Judy judybe@sbcglobal.net
