I can add a bit more information to this thread in case anyone else needs: Dr. Walter Booth Adams, born in Constantia, NY was a professor at American University of Beirut (portrait here: http://ddc.aub.edu.lb/projects/saab/deans/html/walter_adams.html ) His son: Frederic Henry Adams, born in Beirut, Syria, married Doris Mortimer Sanborn of Lowell, Massachusetts in 1931.
