They were from Pomfret, Ct. Isaac was there too. I descend from Prudence's first marriage son, william (Jacques)Jackway. I believe Rufus had a brother born in Windham, Ct. abt. 1770 named Calvin Adams. Isaac married Prudence in 1769.
