He was born in New Jersey, was a soldier in the War of 1812 and married a Lydia Ann Towns. Their children were Thomas William, Lydia Ann, and John, and possible one other son I do not know about. Is it possible your Thomas William or father William also may have a connection to Richard Adams b 25 Sept 1826, in Lancaster County, PA.........just a thought. Did you William die in Philadelphia?
