I show Pleasant Adams as being born about 1730, marrying Ruthie Sutherland, and having a daughter, Rebecca Sutherland Adams. She married her 3rd husband, James Garner and their daughter, Hannah Frances (born 2-4-1856) married John James Jefferies (born 3-12-1852) who was my great-grandfather. Interestinly, John and Hannah lived in Holt County, MO, near Clay, MO. Any idea how to reconcile these two different accounts?
