They were married on July 2, 1949, at the First Congregational Church in Worcester, Mass. Mr. Adams is retired from Underwater Sound Lab of New London. He helped design antennas for the USS Nautilus submarine. Mrs. Adams enjoys landscape oil painting, gardening, and swimming. Their trips together include Europe, China, Egypt down the Nile, India, New Zealand, Australia, an African safari, and Peru. They also traveled across the United States to Hawaii, Alaska, and the Caribbean many times. The two enjoy skiing in Vermont and spending time with the grandkids.
