I have no idea where the Adams are from. The Lettie Bruce woman mentioned in the Bible is from Dawson Co., Ga. On another page it lists her family records. But to me it looks like this Bible may have belonged to the Adams first and then somehow Lettie became owner of it. When she passed away, it was given to my grandfather, Lewis Green Brackett of Lumpkin Co., Ga. As of yet, I have not found any Adams in my line, even through marriage.
