William Adams (B. abt.1814)(Supposedly Tenn.) William Adams Married Nancy Greer in 1832 they resided in District 14, Cape Girardeau, Missouri their kids were: Betsy (I believe Elizabeth Katharine Adams) B. 1836 - 1926 George Washington Adams B. abt. 1838 Andrew Jackson Adams B. abt. 1841 (My Descendent) John Benton Adams B. abt. 1842 Nancy died and then William Adams married Eveline or Evelina Devault in 1844 they had Eve Adams B. abt. 1849 I am unable to trace William Adams' parents ... or birth records ... I am also unable to find any of the family members besides my descendent (Andrew Jackson Adams) past 1850. There are stories that Andrew Jackson Adams was close to one of his brothers and they broke off ties during the civil war because they chose to fight on opposite sides ... the family never spoke of the other family members. So I have no idea where we come from prior to William. I also have no idea what happened to the rest of Andrew Jackson's siblings or half sibling Eve. I have spent so much time researching everything and am completely stuck! :( My decedents ended up in Erath Texas and then later in early 1900's orange CA. Any info would help!! Thanks!!
