It is close to your location and there are a number of individuals named William. One couple with a son William was Andrew and Elizabeth Adams. Another couple with a son named William was Gilbert and Elizabeth Adams. For a while I thought one of these couples might be the parents of my great grandfather, William Kinney Adams but apparently not. Maybe ome is yours. The probate records at Chester may be of some help. There were several Adams wills probated during the 1840's. You can check the Illinois State Archives on line for indexes of these and some marriage and birth certificates as well. In your searching, if you come across the parents of a William Kinney Adams born around 1934, I would appreciate the information. For now, I am at a dead end.
