I've "rescued" an old photograph of Frances GILLESPIE of Harford, Pennsylvania which was taken at the Bailey & McCausland Normal School Gallery in Mansfield, PA. The photograph is dated "Class of 1896" so I'm guessing that it was taken about that time and that Frances is likely in her teens at the time it was taken. Based on limited research and thanks to the help of a GILLESPIE Family Researcher I was able to gather the following information: Frances J. GILLESPIE b. 16 Feb 1876 in Harford, PA to parents William Thompson GILLESPIE and Mary Ann LESLIE. Census records indicate: 1880 - living in Harford, PA, dau age 4, born PA, parents born PA 1910 - living in Harford, PA, sister age 34 living with brother James R. GILLESPIE 1930 - living in Binghamton, NY, sister-in-law age 54, a Teacher living with brother in law Norman C. ADAMS Frances died 18 Jun 1967 and is buried at the Harford Congregationsal Church Cemetery in Susquehanna Co. PA I'm hoping to locate someone from her family so that this beautiful old photograph can be returned to its rightful place, with family.
