I am still trying to connect my Washington Adams with his proper parents. He was born somewhere in Ohio according to census records and then moved to Lagrange county IN around 1832 where he married Laura Hill, daughter of Dr Moses J Hill and his wife Betsey Winslow. He may have been the son of a John Adams who lived nearby in Lagrange. In fact, Washington’s son, Moses Adams moved to IA with Asa Adams, a son of the John Adams. My Washington Adams died in 1863 after moving to Mt Carroll, IL. An aunt claimed that Washington Adams descends from the President Adams. We do know that John Adams migrated from MI then to OH before moving to Lagrange county, IN . Does any of this tie in with the children/grandchildren of the President John or John Q Adams?
