He was born May 23, 1924, in Stringtown, the son of the late Frank and Mary Kalina Adams. He was a member of First United Presbyterian Church of Boston, where he served in Session as Chairman of the Property Committee and was also an elder. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias, the Elizabeth Township Senior Citizens and the American Legion. Frank was a Navy veteran serving during World War II. He was a retired construction supervisor for ARCO Construction Co. and Litman Construction Co. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Marion E. Lepsch Adams; daughter-in-law, Dr. Carolyn Waszczak Adams, of Elizabeth Township; a sister, Josephine "Babe" Valenta, of White Oak; grandchildren, Stacy (Kris) Adams-Sauriol, of Melbourne, Australia, and Dr. Kelly (Ben) Yeager, of Hollidaysburg; great-grandchildren, Kaylyn, Frank, Finnian and Max; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son, Frank ! Adams; and sisters, Della Belardia, Julia Belardia, Peg Jones, Antonia "Tona" Sedlmayer and Francis Kish. Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the GILBERT FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY INC., Boston, Elizabeth Township. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First United Presbyterian Church of Boston with the Rev. Dr. Darrell D. Knopp officiating. Everyone please meet at the church. Interment with military honors will follow at the Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Elizabeth Township.
