I am trying to connect my WASHINGTON ADAMS with his proper parents and ancestors. I understand that he descends from the John Adams and J.Q Adams. My WASHINGTON ADAMS was born in 1811 in OH. He moved to Lagrance county IN where in 1832 he married Laura Hill. She was the daughter of Dr. Moses J Hill and his wife Betsey Winslow. We think that Washington was the son of John Adams and his wife (?) who migrated from the NE to Ohio and then moved to Lagrange county IN before 1840 census. I would welcome any help on establishing the proper parentage of my Washington Adams. Thank you! In your research of the John and John Quincy Adams families, have you found a John Adams born about 1775 migrated to MI and then to OH around 1800 and then moved to Lagrange IN before 1832. He and his wife, (name not known) had 8 children one of which was named Washington. I know this is not much to go on, but perhaps you have some little piece that will add to my puzzle.
