Adams, who lived in Henry County, Alabama. David Fannie Adams Sr., born circa 1784-85, had at least two sons: David Fanning Jr. and James W. Adams. James W. Adams was married in Henry County, Alabama on October 2, 1828, to Christina Sapp. Their household appears next to David and Elizabeth Adams on the 1850 Covington County, Alabama census. David Fanning Adams Jr., according to a posting by "scooterman" list among this David and his wife Margaret Ann Satcher children a son named Joel Jefferson Adams, born about 1835, in Henry County, Alabama. From Henry County Orphans Court Record Book "D", beginning on page 27, one David F. Adams requested and was appointed as the administrator to the estate of Katherine Ward, deceased. Melanie Diane Ward, another researcher has listed among KKatherine's married children Elizabeth Adams. Since KKatherine Ward had numerous living children at her death, iit would seem logical that an heir or one married to an hheir would file to administer her estate.
