I've seen some of that story before. I thought our Sarah Jane was possibly part of that group (born 1833 in TN), but was told that the Sarah in that line was not her. Ours died in Oregon and not sure of her parents. I need to study the old counties more. At what age were young men listed on their own on a census? If 21 in 1830 would they appear on their own?
