I just found out about 2 weeks ago about this Thompson/Adams connection. Mary, who married John H, was the daughter of Joshua Thompson and Hannah Breeding, and is actually the sister of my g g grandmother Dorothy Thompson Constable. I'd love info on Alton - I know he had a second wife, Mary Dunson, I believe. I can see where Clarinda was married underage to a Charles H Marquand; her mother signed the consent form, but then I can't find Clarinda. I think Joshua T. must have died young. Also can't find Mary Adams after 1870. She may have remarried or died - I'll be working on that. It looks like Alton had an immense family, so I'd love whatever information you have to share.
