Thirty years ago, Mr. Adams and his brother WILLIAM lived in Cherokee County, Alabama. John went into the war and, after peace had been declared, came to Texas and located in Washington Co. Two years ago he moved to Denison. His brother William had been lost sight of entirely and it was supposed he had perished in the federal army, as the last heard from him was that he was serving in the Kansas cavalry. Such was not the case however. He has been living at Kingsley, Kansas a number of years and learning his brother was living in Denison, came down Sunday and the brothers are spending the week together.
