Robert was born around 1846 and died in 1916, he was married to Eliza or Elizabeth Moore (daughter of Steven Moore and Minty Adams). He has 12 children, 8 boys (Hillard 1864, Smart 1868, Allen 1870, Butler 1875, John Kemp 1879, Melton 1879, William 1885, and Lee 1888-1984 - my 2nd great grandfather, and 4 daughters (Rachel 1872, Tisby 1873, Lizhy 1874, Frances 1876). Lee Brooks married Melisa (may be spelled many diffrent ways - Melisa, Melissa, Melisa, Malissa, Malisa) Brown in 1918. They lived on Congaree Rd in Gadsden, SC.
