He was married to Eliza Dixon, Elizabeth Whitaker and Nancy Boone Rutledge and had children with Sarah Rutledge also. Also, is there a place on the Internet to see burials at the John Adams cemetery? My great, great Grandmother & Grandfather Mary and William Deal are buried they’re along with my great Grandmother & Grandfather Onie Deal Shively & Daniel J. Shively. I know several stone’s have been added after O. E. Pilson wrote his book. One of the stone’s is for Native Americans. I have been told my great, great grandmother Mary Deal was an Adams and of Native American decent. I have not been able to make a tie to the Adams Family. She was married to William Deal born 1820 died in 1909. I have been told she was Mary Adams Deal. But have not been able to find anything on their marriage. So I have been unable to prove she was an Adams. I have found several Mary Adams in Patrick County and was able to trace them to who they married but nothing has paned out. I also was told she was part Indian. She is buried in the John Adams Cemetery in Patrick County, VA. I have attached her photo in hopes someone may be able to help. Thanks for you time Teddie

The family moved to Sedalia, Mo very close to 1870. They show up in 1870 in Pettis County, Sedalia, Mo, and in 1880 I find David Adams in Montana, doing logging. That is the last time I find him and do not know if he died there, or just isn't listed in future censuses. His parents were James and Hannah (Sycks or Sykes) Adams and his siblings were Ruth Ann, Marshall V, Ellsworth M, Sarah L, William, Oda Jane Adams. England 1790. She married JOHN ELLIS SR (b. 1789 Kent). They lived in the London area, where their son, JOHN JR, was b. 1819. In 1826, the family emigrated to New York, USA. They had these children: America 6 Jane 11 John 8 Robert 9 Thomas 5 William 13 The family settled first in Schenectady, then Saratoga, where my gggrandfather JABEZ STEPHEN ELLIS was b. 1830, and his sister ANN ELLIS TOMLINSON , then Chautauqua, where son Robert married Rowena Swetland and settled in Sherman. In 1842, the rest of the family moved on to Grant, Wisconsin. Some are found on the 1850 Beetown census. Throughout the 1850s-1870s, son John and wife Louisa Rachel Carpenter returned to New York.
