Your subject line should look something like this: Mary Ann Adams b. 1838 in AL md. Benjamin Franklin Price. Then in your message give basic information you have, including names of parents, spouses, birth/death dates, and places. You can look at other people's messages to get an idea of what information you need to provide. There are Adams families all over the United States but if you are specific in your subject line as to which Adams family you are researching by giving dates and places, you will be more likely to find someone with information. Good luck with your framily tree.

They apparently came into NY or PA and moved across the country through PA, WV, Ohio, and MO, then some of the children went to Montana, Ca, and probably other places I have no idea about. Most settled in MO and were Railroad workers. Sue Adams Diaz

Hi List, This is my first posting to this list in a long, long time. I'm hoping someone can help me. First of all does anyone know where I can find the 1850 Census for this county on line? I am searching for the parents of my Gr Grandad John Wesley Cooper born in 1849/1850 in Magoffin county. On his death Cert. it states his father as an unknown Cooper from KY and his mother as an unknown Adams from Magoffin County. I recently did a 25 marker on the DNA, I had no Cooper hits but 3 direct hits with people with the last names Stanely, Raines and Morrow. If anyone has any of these people with a Cooper marriage or can be any help it will be greatly appreciated Ed Cooper
Hi Ed, I looked on Heritage Quest for the info for you. I found several John Cooper's, none with the middle initial of W, but some without a middle initial also. If you dont have access to Heritage Quest, let me know. Send me John's wife's name or something and I'll see what I can find. My Adams' were in Magoffin Co also. Take care.
