Hi to you all on the List, Would just like to say that I am going to unsubscribe for a while as other things take over from family Researching. I am still looking for Samuel ADAMS that came to Tasmania,Australia in 1822 as a convict and I do believe that there are still families there from George Edward ADAMS all around this area and would really like to hear from any one with these names in their trees. Some of Samuel's family went to New Zealand too. Have a nice day and take care Alice in Qld,Aust

It could help fill in some holes in the tree that I have and I am more than happy to share what information I have with you. I don't recall ever meeting Lowell, if I did I was too little to remember - as to Grandpa's other siblings I do not recall meeting them either. I do recall however, seeing Grandpa's Mom...Mora a couple of times. Her name fis either Mora Cora Ida Hughy or Mora Cora Ada Hughy. Would you ask your Dad what his Mother's name was. I'll keep my fingers crossed it was Mora/Cora Hughy Adams :) Heck if we are related - I'm not opposed to meeting should you want to some day! :) Look forward to hearing from you again..... Hope you and your family have a great Thanksgiving Holiday

We may have some common names: Spencer and Benjamin: there are several in my male Adams line. Do you have places of birth and where they migrated to/from? My male Adams line is a member of a large pre-revolutionary Adams family from VA that mostly went south and west but some found their way north. You may be an example. Have there been any males in your Adams line who have had their DNA tested? That is how I found out I am part of this large family being researched. I was thwarted by a courthouse fire in 1878 in Arkansas, now I'm back on track because of the DNA test. Hank

My grandfather was born in Prospect, Ohio in 1867. His younger brothers are born in Walworth, Wisconsin. Robert in 1876, Benjamin in 1878, and Earl G. in 1881. Their father is a Methodist minister and moves on to South Dakota, Salt Lake City, and Sacremento. Grt. Grandfather's name was Spencer G. Adams. His father was Benjamin Cary Adams born 1811. His father was Elijah Adams 1779-1873, married Nancy Cary 1787-1834. Do any of these names tie in with your families?
