Thanks Carole, I guess we are looking for different Adams. If I come across your David I will definitely let you know. Frustrating at times isn't it, but it feels so good when we figure something out. Do you know of any cousins - maybe they could help you, but you have probably tried that, or marriage or maybe census? I am sure you have tried all of that. Name, birth date, death date, usually parents name & mothers maiden name, age of deceased, who furnished the info & I have found the place of burial & funeral home to always be listed. Example is the death cert of my Great Grandmother, born 1853, Ky & died 1920 in Adams Co., Ohio. Also my G.Grandfather, born 1847 & died 1929,Ohio.I am sure there is a state listing where you can apply for a death certificate, but usually, they won't charge you just for a search. Also, check out the health dept for death cert"s for Rogers Co., Ok. This is where Chelsea is located. Good luck in your hunt. Sharon
