The only son I know of right now for Henry is Robert. I believe there were others though. I have not been able to find where Robert is buried. His wife Keziah is buried in Porter Twp., PA, but Robert is not. I originally thought he was in Westmoreland County; however, I found something Sunday that said they came through Armstrong County. I haven't had time yet to check that county out. I will keep you informed if I find any other sons. Andrea

I also do not know when he came to America. It could have been as a child with his famiy, or it could have been as a young man, single or married. Both he and his wife Sarah were born in Ireland, and again, I don't know if they met here and married or came over together. Your time frame of Elijah interests me as he could be a brother or other relative. My Adams seem to have taken several routes, some into the Carolinas, and my James Adams went west. I have heard he helped with the National Road which is what probably landed him right at Wheeling, WV about 1850. Let's talk. My E mail is Teacherg4@aol.com

    3. Tom I have an Adams/Schoonover connection but it may not be the one you want. As I understand it, the Schoonover's were from NY and the Adams from Ohio/ West Virginia. [From my website at <bobaddleman.com> and then click on Adams. Finally on the homepage, click on Robirdie (at the top). Pearl is the oldest girl. 2. Neva Adams
    3. Hi, The person who tested, listed it as William Adams, Sr., b. 1725, d. 1792 Surry Co, NC. That person has not made contact with the other person that he matched with, whose family line is in Letcher County, KY. Floyd/Perry/Letcher County, KY has another William whose line came there from Wilkes County, NC. A researcher who studied all of the lines from this part of KY 20 yrs ago believed there were at least 4 lines in Letcher. So far, there are two of them. Neva Adams "William Adams,do you know what part of NC he was born in?"
